Vanquish demo=....meh

anyoine else feel this way.

i couldnt even finish the dmeo because it jsut didnt get me. it was fast an all. but it was trying to do to many things at once. it was trying to incoorporate every other TPs into it. it was kinda like a crossover between uncharted and armoed core and transfomers and some other game. it just wasnt that great.

I really liked it.

It wasn't anything new as far as TPS's, but it was still fun. However, I didn't find much use for the "boosting" mechanic, it just seemed kind of tacked-on to me. I mostly just found myself running around shooting like a crazy madman or shooting from cover (when it wasn't destroyed) the whole time.

But that just may be my fault for not trying to implement the various mechanics into my gameplay style.

Other than that, it certainly looks very polished for a demo. I didn't care much for the MC's voice actor.

I am not however motivated to buy it day one. Still keeping an eye though.

I honestly had quite worse expectations but the demo was really not bad.

The style, suit and weapons design are very nicely designed.

I'm not into this type of genres but it's something worth renting for me. :)

True, it's seems someone is actually capable of proper programming for once. :)

I had no problems with it and thought it played fantastically. Day one buy.

I thought it was pretty good, but considering games like this have no online and probably a short single player campaign, I'll probably get it once the price goes down.

I've had my eye on this game hoping it would be something better, and I also have to say i was disappointed with the demo.

It wasn't horrible. But it reallly didn't do anything for me. Just one to watch for when it's in the bargain bin. ($19.99). I wasn't going to get it day 1 anyway, demo just didn't convince me otherwise.

To paraphrase Shakespeare:

Whole lotta flash and 'splosions, pretty animations, smooth framerate... but ultimately it felt like more bluster than substance. I think I'll pick up "War for CyberTron" before I get this. It reminds me of ZOE, a lot of ZIP-ZAM-POW for very little ultimate reason. Sure is pretty but there's this "Dark Sector" aftertaste (y'know, not a bad game technically, but not much under the hood plot-wisew when you get past the lighting & particle effects).

More power and no disrespect to those who wanna buy it. It's certainly pretty & controls well.

I actually liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to. It has a very satisfying, arcade feel to it that no other current-gen TPSs have. It's been awhile since a game like this came out and I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was.

I really liked the demo. Fast paced AND the matrix dodging two artillery shells was sweet on the boss.

I didnt think i would enjoy the demo as much as i did, but it was pretty fun with the fast pace sliding and detroying the giant boss.

Im gonna be picking this up now :)

I played it for about 10 minutes and got bored. It's a shooter - the gameplay is pretty much identical to any other shooter. The enemies behaved just like any other shooter, the weapons had about the same effect...meh. Bargain bin purchase sometime down the road. Shooters are getting so common these days they really should start selling them in three-packs for sixty bucks or something.

I really liked too.

Played the demo, but reckon the game will drop down in price after a weeks after it's release.

After playing the demo, I felt the gameplay was okay. I really liked abusing the Mega Man slide, but other than that, I didn't find anything too new or original that this game was doing that really struck a chord with me.

severely boring.

i finished it, but had trouble staying awake.

I really liked the demo, it caught me by surprise how good the game actually is
