Verdict On Until Dawn?

So what do you guys in the community think of Until Dawn?

I really like Heavy Rain and Beyond2Souls. Is that a fair comparison?

Is the game actually scary?

What is your overall opinion?

Great game, unique gameplay, reminds Heavy Rain but much better...and yes the game is scary.

a lot of jump scare but not that much scary, there was only one part that I found scary and it is because they use the Dualshock4 to its fullest.

The story is funny and some caracters are made to be liked and other to be hated.

Not as deep as Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls but still good.

It is also a very easy platinum trophy

Scariest game that I ever played. Great graphics, nice plot and scary. It does have nicely jump scares, builds lot tension and the very important amazing sound effects & music makes it even scarier. The music score reminds me of the movie of Insidious or Sinister. It reminds me of a mixture of some of great horror movies but i dont want to say the name of the horror movies as it may be a spoiler. I liked it better than heavy rain and telltale walking dead and has more replay value than those games. I beat the game and I actually watched the unlocked bonus videos and want to play it again as im curious how i can play it better or differently. I would give it a 9 out of 10. Got the game for $15.99 at best buy during black friday with unlocked gamer membership. Well worth it.

If you like movie games, go for it. Most like it, I picked it up but haven't gotten to far into it yet.

Had this game for Christmas and I'm still playing through it, very impressed with it. There are a lot of jump scares and most of them are well executed

It's the best David Cage game that David Cage had nothing to do with.

Underatted but a bit short about an 8 out 10

Fantastic game, played a few times at night, and hearing noises in my building made me uneasy. The incredible graphics really put me into what's happening, and I was happy the different choices either changed dialogues, added different scenes, just not have one survive.

Loved the game. Played through it multiple times, but wished for even More intricate scenarios.

-I really hoped you could alter the game completely; like decide or alter who the "bad guy" ended up being.-

-I was hoping you could force the "couples" into new relationships.

-Things never really seemed to have that impact that I wanted them to have.

yes its very good.. it does what Quantic Dream games try to do but better in every single way. Biggest suprise of 2015 for me.

agreed. picked it up for cheap on a whim. really wasn't expecting much but i really enjoyed it. was surprised at just how well put together it was

It's a pretty good game. I think anyone who likes horror type games, games where choice impacts story or even story games in general should check it out.

Finished watching Mr. Robot. It is a great show that I highly recommend. Rami Malek (Joshua) is an awesome actor in Until Dawn and Mr Robot and won BEST ACTOR IN DRAMA SERIES with Critic's Choice Award. Check out Rami's speech.

Good not great. First playthrough is super cool. Second and you realize your choices don't really matter at all. Really only the last hour or so of gameplay actually is dependent on choices made. It's good at disguising itself as though it's unique to every play through but it's really not that diverse. Still a cool game though and definitely worth a play

Until Dawn was good, not scary enough IMO. Cool gameplay. Sadly no replayability due to only minimal changes in the second playthrough, that kinda disappointed me

Until Dawn was phenomenal. One of those welcome, unexpected classics like the first Dead Space. Both were great first playthrough experiences. Until Dawn definitely pulled off what it was trying to be, in fact, I hope Quantic Dream is taking notes.

TERRIBLE, overrated game. Horrible characters and plot, boring and been done premise, entire concept is a lie, looks hideous, not scary even slightly. I'm gonna piss off someone here, but my disgust for that game can't be put into words.
