This is a link to an ebay advice page about sony magicgate memory sticks!!!......it says that basically nearly 100% of sony 1gb 2gb and 4gb memory sticks being sold on ebay are fake....the sellers are puttin up pictures of real ones n then sending you fake ones!

This page is a guide to check your memory sticks, if you have bought a memory stick like the ones shown in the link, i advise you to check them because they cud be fake, this means they run slower, have less memory space etc read more about this on the page!

I have just bought one off ebay but the order hasnt gone through yet so i am going to stop this seller from sending me the item, hopefully i'l be able to stop what hes doing!

so do not buy memory sticks off of ebay! unless it is off of one of the trust sellers in the list on the link!

I've bought one of these, don't know if I was just lucky or if they aren't as bad as some say, but regardless it has more memory than a standard 2 gb Sony stick and it doesn't seem to run any slower. I haven't had any trouble with mine, works just fine.Santas_Hitman

ok but go onto your psp...go the controller symbol, then go down to the bottom, click on memory stick and then click triangle, a thing on the right will appear that says information, click on this and this will tell you if ur memory stick is real or not, once you've done it post on here what it says

well the ones going around ebay are only sony, but still watch out wen buying memory sticks, its bests just to buy from amazon because they are safe and cheap....thats wat i'm going to do.......but also another word of warning do not buy the sony memory off of the amazon sellers....only buy them from amazon itself because there has been reports of fake memory sticks from the amazon sellers, just like the ebay ones!!!!
