Veteran Mode COD WAW

So im about four or five veteran level trophies away from Platinum in WaW and it is getting ridiculous. Playing veteran in call of duty games is stupid. you hide behind a wall and they throw grenades at you that land 3 at a time right at your feet. then as soon as you run out to get away land 16 bullets to your chest and kill you. lol its crazy and horribly unrealistic. i was wondering what other people think about the veteran difficulty in call of duty games and if there are any other games others can think about like it? oh and also since Infinity Ward said they were going to adress the infinite spawn problem what else do you guys think they should tweak change or transform for IW's MW2 or Treyarchs next call of duty also

To me, the CoD games on Veteran are both difficult hard, and cheap hard. At least they're getting rid of the infinite enemy respawns in MW2, which should make it a lot easier.

It can get VERY frustrating at times but I manged to do it eventually. :D

You just missed my COD blog. I posted that i finally managed to complete WAW on veteran mode. Of cause it was very hard but i do aggree with you that its a little stupid a times.

Its so annoying i gave up on relentless.

Enenmies ONLY go for you and they know where you are even if you haven shown yourself to them. and your squad sucks.

It's not that bad. The last two levels pissed me off. The last one totally did. It's do-able

Its awful. The AI is teh worst AI ever yet it didnt get the bad AI emblem from gs? Strange. Also the game suffers from Clown Car sydrome which makes it even worse. Least in KZ2 playing it on Elite was actually fun. Altiar25

took the words right out of my mouth. KZ2 is hard too. But the AI is amazing. and makes it realistic and worthwhile. While in WaW the AI is dumb and has his back turned to you on veteran and still manages to shoot 15 to your chest

ya, i'm also stuck on relentless, and u have the worst fuc****squad of history, out of so many soldiers to shoot or kill, is like if they're fuc**** around, and enemies instead of doin the same, they shoot u out of so many soldiers they could fuc**** shoot, it is ridiculous, and wht i hate the most, FUC**** GRENADES!!!! they throw u like fuc**** 6 to 7 grenades at the same time, how the fu** u expect me to get away from so many goddamn grenades?? tht doesn't make sense, plus, u fuc**** shoot an enemy, and still the son of a b1tch is struggling to live, and i'm like...wtf?? in real war with a shot like tht he'll be fuc**** dead, it is really stupid, i basically need to beat it on veteran and like 2 more trophies for platinum, but the other ones are not tht hard, i basically did the toughest ones like gunslinger and sum of all zeroes, anyone who has tips for veteran?, hit me up on my psn: deathkrutcher ohh and i do have map pack 2 for those who wanna play nazi zombies on shi no numa and do some of the trophies xD!

I made some progress on burn em out today on vet.I'm also trying to get the flamethrower only troph.

Veteran Mode in WaW is by far the greatest BS ever. I mean I was playing one of the last Japanese levels and I kid you not there were 8 grenade threat indicators on my screen.

I was so glad to be done with it, Because that game is full of so much BS and is one of the worst experiences playing a game ever.

Its just bloody crazy. Im trying on Vet at the moment. completed recruit and then went for vet to just to get the trophies. OHG is this a pain in the ass. Im sat on Eviction, just where I have to leave the building into the street where the tanks are starting to clean up. Either i am being dumb or this is just bloody insane. Do the AI respawn after being killed - cos im sure there cannot surely be many more to pick off. hours and hours for the checkpoint, then hours and hours till the next - not the fun game i once enjoyed, all for 1 platinum trophyjasperpie

Yes...it is hard and I have the platinum in it but I did it by watching walkthroughs on youtube.

Killzone 2's was more frustrating.

WAW was easy, but cheap.

i thought it was ridiculously hard too, but kz2 was something else, that game made me feel like ripping my hair out

Man was COD:WAW veteran a pain

I would always take cover while prone only to have 10 grenades thrown at me threw all back and grenades came till I was dead

I swear a level took me 2 hours each

Nothing compares to veteran

I gave up after a couple levels. I didn't need that much frustration for a couple of trophies that don't put any money in my bank account anyways. I just traded WaW in last week :)

Yeah I understand, I can deal with hard, but unrealistic difficulty does my nut in. Similar thing in Call of Juarez, when there are snipers, that havent seen you yet, you poke a fingernail out of cover and they'll blow it off...

no-one has reactions that good, no-one can see through walls.

It is very annoying but still all the more rewarding when its done eh?
