I'm going to go against the grain and pick Virtua Fighter; it's a great fighting game that unfortunately has no online. Motor Storm is a good enough online racing game but single player is lame at best. I own both I guess it really comes down to do you prefer fighting or driving games? If you want a good online racing game I much prefer Ridge Racer 7.

Ok, the single player mode is not lame at all, its actually very challenging and readies you for on line, other wise you get ur but kicked online.

I would recommend Motorstorm, single player is challenging. online is fun.  graphics and gameplay are great.... You dont need a headset to play online but if you want one, you can use the PS2 ones (wired) that are about 20 bucks on up... also bluetooth cel phone headsets can be used... One I use and I've seen consistently recommended on this forum is the Motorola H350. It goes for about 35 bucks on amazon which is the cheapest I've seen. If you dont go with that bluetooth set make sure you get one that is 2.0 compatible... they seem to have the least problems
