Vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and president of SCE France, Georges Fornay discusses Final Fantasy XIII.  I hope they hold these series, for the sake of their own goods.

That's the VP of SCEE not SCEA, and this has been posted before.

Yeah, but people said that about Nintendo back in the day too. Your logic applied to that situation = no PSX titles.

MGS and FF are likely multiplatform....end fo story....the PS3 is never going to be the PS2 and just can't carry the biggest games alone this generation. It's not saying anything bad about the PS3, just that the competition is in a better position this time around. Just pray that they stay multiplatform at this point. If they stay multiplatform it's a good thing for the Sony. The 360 has a much bigger installed base, which puts Microsoft in a good position to deal these exclusive.

This is the one franchise that Sony can not lose.  It sells systems in all regions of the world.  I know 3 or 4 people that plan to buy a ps3 in the future for this game.  Sony better do what they have to to keep it.  Cuz if they dont things could get real ugly real quick.

Exactly, it's not a knock against the PS3, it just doesn't have/won't have the install base to carry huge exclusives this time around. Games cost more and more to make, of course the developer is going to go multi-platfrom to make more money.

They must hold MGS and FF if Sony want to survive this gen........ I know that Sony got some awesome exclusives from their own department, but these two franchise are big system sellers. Didn't Sony learn their lesson yet, my god first GTA, DMC, now this, come on Sony wake up and smell the coffee, lol.

Just because it's on the 360 doesn't mean it won't be for the PS3, you'll still get it for the PS3, it's just that Square will put it on the 360 too to make more money.

Square makes good quality games, it'll be fine, maybe you haven't had much experience with the 360 but the graphics are really good just like the PS3s, so in no way will a 360 game be crappy, it'll still be a fun game with great graphics (that's if it gets ported which isn't for sure)
