Hello everyone, I'm sorry to ask this topic, I'm sure it's been asked to death! I want to get some videos on my psp slim, and I've tried using PSP Video 9, but everytime I try to move the converted movie to the PSP, it says error cannot find correct file, or something like that. I've formatted my memory card as well, so I don't know what it could be. Could some please, if you can, please give me the name and place where I can download an easy to use video converter, and how I can get the darn files on the system. Thank you so much!

PSP Video 9 used to be one of the best converter / transfer programs available. It's not any more. It's glitchy, it randomly crashes, sometimes it doesn't even start, and it will randomly scream at you that you won a free ipod. crazy advertisements.

You just have to figure out the quirks of the program and the PSP itself. Since you got a slim you should be using the highest firmware profile. I think that's AVC FW 3.3+ 480x???. This movie then gets put in the /VIDEO folder. DO NOT use the MP_ROOT folders. They only work if you are using an earlier firmware profile (ie. FW 3.3). I've read one guy had problems with the AVC profiles. Either make sure you've got QuickTime installed or try the non-AVC profiles.
