Just Recently I Noticed That Videos Put Into The E:/MP_ROOT/100MNV01 Folder Will Not Play. My Videos Are In MP4 Format (Using Pspvideo 9) and This Is Where I Had Always Put Videos (And Playing Them Worked Fine).

Has Sony Recently Updates Something In The Firmware To Not Allow User Uploaded Videos...?

Perhaps they are AVC MP4 format, in which case they would go under the E:/MP_ROOT/100ANV01 folder. Also check if it is actually in the proper folder if you are transferring the videos using PSPVideo9. I know that sometimes the videos don't transfer to the proper folder. (so instead of an AVC MP4 movie going into the 100ANV01 folder, PSPVideo9 would place it into the 100MNV01 folder)

try just putting them in the video folder in the root of your memory stick.

The reason your videos wont work is you probably have the quality on to high when you are converting. PSP's will only play videos that are converted at a bit-rate less than 745, ( i don't know what the unit it is measured in, but the number is on the statistics when you are converting).

Just make sure the videos are going in the right folder SP mp4 go in the 100MNV01 (sub)folder and AVC mp4 go in the 100ANV01 (sub)folder in the MP_ROOT (main) folder. Better still just use the Video folder and forget about the crazy naming stuff.

I use PSP Media Manager Pro and that just converts my video for me.
