Viking a 6.3 from IGN..

Sadly I thought this would be a GOW on the next gen... but for reviews like that I'll end up probably waiting... your thoughts?

BTW besides IGN, gametrailers, and gamespot are there any other good and up to date websites similar to them?

lol, just wait for next gen God Of War then.
I usually rely more on gametrailers reviews over all the others sites, along with my friends. They use a show instead of just tell how the game is, and it's also like watching an extended game trailer too.

I have to question why people thought the game was gonna be that good in the first place. Especially since the only thing the developers of the game have ever made that was any good were RTS games, which in no way translates to a good action game. What I mean is, I saw no reason for any sort of hype for the game. It didn't have amazing graphics (which seems to be the main cause for hype on games nowadays), it wasn't really all that unique, and, again, the developer (published by Sega, which is so mixed in terms of quality, I don't rely on their games either).

I also believe Dark Sector is in the same category, in the sense it will probably end up being average at best, and that's all I would expect from it, being from a developer that has never released a major title and being a game that has nothing to warrant hype.

Sometimes IGN reviews are much lower than others. I mean, for example God Hand got 8 on GS and 3 on IGNkenshinhimura16

True, I just have to go off of reviews and my personal thoughts on what I've seen of a game now a days otherwise I'd be broke and feel sick to my stomach wasting money on games I don't enjoy... and usually I can be confident with a game that gets good reviews and I always enjoy them...
