Theoretically, you can, but since not many people have a PS3, there are no viruses for it yet, so no. Because to have a virus that has an affect, you have to have it programmed for a target system, whether it's Windows, Mac, Playstation, etc.
it can, but there aren't any for the ps3. a virus is just a program written for the operating system, so anyone writing a virus would have to write one specifically for the ps3. it's the same as computers, people with windows can get a ton of virus', but people using macs don't get virus', because no one (that i know of) writes virus' for the mac at this point in time.
Even if you did get one just save all your stuff and reformat your disc. The psp and and everything else that goes online has a risk of getting a virus. There is one easy way to avoid it, dont go to un trusted sites aka porn sites.
