Hi,

I am thinking of buying a PS Vita. The bundle that I am looking to get a hold of is from GAME and it includes a Wifi only Vita, Uncharted Golden Abyss and AC3 Liberation. It also includes a 4gb memory card and a link cable. I am largely buying the Vita for the chance to play PS1 classics on the go. However I realise the 4gb card is rather small and a lot of the PS1 games I am looking to get a hold of such as the FF titles and MGS are all quite large. My question is, is it possible to use multiple cards on one Vita system? I imagine it would be but I just want to make sure. I know the recent 1.80 update introduced a locking feature for cards and PSN accounts. Does this effect the number of cards I can have? Or just that any card I use in the Vita is locked onto my PSN account? I was thinking of buying a second memory card just for holding PS1 classics. Problem is I can only really afford another 4gb one, I was rather shocked to see how expensive these memory cards are! I will already be shelling out around £250 and Sony is wanting me to shell out another £80 just for the largest card! This is something I cannot afford to do.

Thanks for any information. If this question has been posted somewhere else I apologise.

Believe there is no limit and the only locking is that you can't load your memory card to someone else's machine.

If you can only afford a 4gb right now, make sure to check the starter kits out too. Saw them selling for $25.00 in Canada and that was was with a 4gb card, so that might be a a better deal for you.

Thanks for replying. Have you any experience with screen protectors? The starter kit I will be buying comes with one and I would rather be safe than sorry. But my experience with them is not great. It took me so many tries with my Galaxy S2 and I always get those annoying bubbles caused by tiny dust particles!

I tried the screen protection and didn't like it. Not a fan of them in any event.

The starter kit is a bit rubbish but you get a set of headphones and a case that are okay.

The kit isn't worth $40.00 but I've seen the kit sell for $25.00 and the 4gb sell for $20.00 by itself so for five bucks more its not bad.

Not a fan of the soft case the kit comes with, I just got a Rocketfish hard case for $20.00 and recommend a case like that.

I've seen 32gb selling on used sites like Kijiji for $60.00, so might also want to try sites like that - 4 gb doesn't last long at all.

Use a matte screen protector, on matte your finger tip will not appear on screen once you touch it and it more smooth when you touch it. really good on Vita. Also if you've love digital copy games you better buy 16gb memory cards to put more games lol.

Pirates were not the downfall of the PSP. That's just the scapegoat for developers who were bitter at the PSP's relatively modest success in comparison to its peers. Not to say it didn't hurt, and it's certainly a big part of the reason for these proprietary memory cards.
