My first problem is likely to be the hardest to solve. It seems sony PlayStation does not agree with my router for whatever reason. Both my newly acquired psv and ps3 (yes I am an Xbox convertie) seem to have problem maintaining a connection. Since swapping to a wired connection on my ps3 this problem appears to have been solved but still having trouble with the vita.

So if anyone can offer any advice on solving this I would very much appreciate it.  (No problems with any of my other consoles, tablets ect)

So that brings us to question 2

Where can I get the cheapest memory cards for vita? Amazon is currently sold out and the vita has a backlog i want to get through aha

And finally question 3

What games would you recommend for someone who is not a fan of Japanese games

(I have uncharted, little big planet, modnation , rayman, lego lotr when vikings attack (I am oddly addicted to this games online aha), playstation all stars, mortal kombat andddd metal gear solid collection )

Hi and welcome to the club!

For the connectivity problem, it's obviously impossible to give you advice here on the forum. I'd suggest to check your settings carefully, anyway.

For the memory cards, perhaps you should wait september. As Killzone will be out, a price slash for main unit and memory cards could likely happen.

Welcome to the Vita club.

As for game recommendations, here are mine:

  • Capcom Classics Collection Remixed and Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded - PSP games that work on the Vita, each with a boatload of old games.
  • Hustle Kings - nice looking pool game.
  • Hotline Miami - think GTA 1 on a NES.  Brutal and addictive.
  • Limbo - if you bought on the PS3 you get a Vita version for free.  Lovely and challenging puzzle platformer.
  • Pinball Arcade - massive collection of pinball tables that look great, puts other pinball games to shame.
  • Playstation Home Arcade - you get some old arcade games like Asteroids and Time Pilot for $1.50 each.
  • Rebel - simple single screen retro game that looks like it came from the Intellivision (found in the Mobile section in the PSN store).
  • Super Crate Box - another mobile game, simple, addictive challenging single screen fun.
  • Rymkdkpasel - another mobile game, unique puzzle/RTS type game.

If you see Ridge Racer on sale, be warned.  It's pretty skimpy in terms of cars and tracks and the online code for bonus cars and tracks expired last December.

Don't skimp on the memory card, go for the 32gb - anything less and you'll likely regret it.
