Not really.... i really could care less about Bioshock to tell you the truth....its just not my kind of game i didn't like the atmosphere which is kinda the whole aspect of the game. MGS4 makes up for Haze why do you think it was scheduled so close to MGS4... it was so if it did bomb people would forget about it in 2 weeks due to MGS4.
Nothing can "make up for" Haze being a poor game (In most people's opinions). There is no doubt that many see Free Radical to have messed up on Haze, stating it could have been so much more, but they just didn't deliver. Bioshock seems like a great game, getting good reviews all over, however these are two games by two different developers. I am definately looking forward to Bioshock, however it won't make up for Haze being bad. It's not as if I'm hanging on Haze though, as I move on, only to look forward to other great games down the road.
No. Were getting it later then the 360 after having to deal with Haze while they got their Halo 3. Anyone feel like all of the sudden Playstation is getting the shaft from reviewers and game developers? I mean even Square is looking a little shaky with their multi-plat ideas.

Think about it this way! The Graphics for BioShock will probably be way better for the PS3 version, a little more polished and sharper looking! Since it will be coming out a Year after the 360 version! Also it wouldn't be hard to through in a extra Area or a little extra Gameplay now, exclusivly for the PS3 version! So I think BioShock coming now to the PS3, now, then a Year ago with the other 2 versions "360, PC" is WAY BETTER! It has more Potential now of having even better Graphics and even some extra Exclusive Content!
I say no. I really wasn't counting on Haze to get great reviews. Haven't played Haze so can't really say whether I think it's bad or not. I'll prolly pick up Bioshock to see what all the fuss is about, but I never counted on Haze being an instant hit or an instant purchase.
why are some you guys THAT exited... i mena its over a year old now, and they havent even released the port date for ps3, hell the port could end up 2009, which would make aan almost 2 year old game.
yes and no. a good game to replace a not so good game but i was really looking forwad to Haze. it seemed unique with nectar and 4 player co op is always a great feature.
i don't need to be compensated for something that i do not possess (haze) and never intended to possess (haze), especially by something that i never wanted (bio).
I wonder if anyone took gamestop up on their "if you don't like haze you can return it" deal.
Anyways, I don't see how a game from one company can make up for another game from another company. Unless you mean in the great cosmic sense. Bioshock is better imo. I played the demo on the 360 and it was a very nice looking game with good atmosphere.
Looks like most of you agree that, BioShock for the PS3 will help us get past the Haze Crap! I for one, diffently think BioShock makes up for Haze big time! Best decision Sony could ever do is getting BioShock for sure!

I agree. I already have it, loved it, and beat it for 360, but if they add a lot of new content, I will surely pick this up for my PS3 as well, why not? It was a great game and still is.
Finished it on PC, didn't really like it. I extremely hate the environment, and some of the weapons. But modifying weapons and buying new powers was awesome.

Have you ever played Bioshock? It's a great game. Better than most games out there. Your comment about Haze's release date being close to MGS4 because it's so bad is probably one of the dumbest things I've read on here in quite some time.
Actually yes. I was really looking forward to Haze and was gonna pick it up thinking it was gonna be an 8. I was disappointed in the score but still have a need for a new game. The Bioshock announcement is one I have been waiting for for a long time now and it immediately cheered me up. I heard it has a september release date. So september=socom and bioshock, october= lbp, fallout3 and motorstorm 2, november= resistance 2...this year looks even better than last year
I dont get into the whole. Ok we got it, in your face. I like in your face, but not this way. I dont like the feel of taking. Thats more their way, They own that way of doing things lol. So Its not a major to me. Sony gets second. Thats all they need.
I rather its more like. "You have this, we have that." And thats how it is. But they dont like to play that way, So i guess Sony cant afford to play that way either.
I knew Haze would bomb when I first saw it's unimpressive screenshots and heard about it's half-hearted storyline so I didn't really need compensation for it. Regardless, I'm glad Bioshock is coming to PS3... a fantastic game that should be tried by everyone.

I believe it certainly does! As of the last 3 years i have been disappointed with the products that ubisoft have been bringing out so the Haze bomb really doesnt surprise me.

I voted no because Haze doesnt need to be made up for. Its a decent game sorry people hate it because of reviews and placed a high standard on it. But Its a decent game. Bioshock coming to the PS3 is greatness because I was planning on buying a gaming computer for that and Gears but now that its coming to the PS3 there is no need.
bah haze was one of my most anticipated games... one of they key titles to hold me off until mgs4... bahhhh damn free radical wtf happen :( bioshock looks cool n all ill prolly get it but their is alot of quirky things in it im not to big on... like the endings... lol
Bioshock coming to the PS3 more than makes up for Haze: 1) Another great game on the system. 2) More importantly, it demonstrates that Devs have regained confidence in the PS3. 3) It is no longer a reason to buy 360 over PS3.
