Ok I don't have a PS3 but I was able to play Lair today at a friends house for quite a wile and I have to say the controllers are not the nest but they are not Horrible like the reviews say: it took me about 10-20 minutes to get the controls down and I noticed if you move the Sixaxis to fast it will not respond correctly but if you take your time it actually dose the movement with out any problems. The only problem that I actually noticed is that there is a Delay but thats about it so that might make people think that the controls are broken.

Well that was just my opinion after playing the game for the first time. It is a good game and yes contolls could be better but they did not fell horrible. I fell involve with the visuals so when I get a PS3 I'll be picking this off.

If you are a Fanboy and or have not played LAIR at all and you are going by what the reviews have said Please don't Vote

Lately people are learning to ignore game reviews and try it themselves. Good job people.

the Controls are Extremely frustrating, at some points you just want to tear your hair out . but ill admit it there is some levels that i really enjoyed and had no problem controlling my dragon, I'm hoping that they release an update to fix the controls cause this game is just plain sweet..

The unfortunate part about this was you know Factor 5 wanted to include conventional controls, but Sony, wanting to make an example of the useless SIXAXIS technology made sure it was the only option. Total failure. Let's just get rumble back into games and forget this crap ever existed.

I didn't have the problem that a lot of people had with the controls. I have noticed that a lot of people over do it when it comes to the motion control. The game really doesn't require super fast movement, but rather slower more subtle and smooth motions. I can see why some would not like the control, but I do and while they may not be perfect it really does not limit my fun with the game. I like Lair, and maybe it's not excellent, but I do enjoy it.

The only problem i have with the controls is sometimes when i try to do a 180 it won't respond, but that is it. I love the game, actually.

My issues with the controller have been during the timed event sequences. For example, during the Sea Serpent and takedown maneuvers you are asked to move right or left with the controller. Either there is a specific moment when it is necessary to do so or it simply doesn't register the motion, as it has been very random for me. In fact, I have yet to successfully do a takedown. I've also had a bit of trouble with lifting/ripping items when you have to shake the controller up and down. Sometimes it seems to be fluid, like a rythym, and others it seems to barely register.

I think with a little bit better explanation of how and when some of these actions needed to be performed it would have been alright.

Regardless, I enjoy the game and I don't have a huge amount to complain about. Now if only following the 732 commands you are given during Dead Basin were easier to follow...

The only problem that I actually noticed is that there is a Delay but thats about it so that might make people think that the controls are broken.

I think that slight delay is fine in the game. It adds to the atmosphere of you riding a dragon. People tend to forget that you are the rider not the dragon. It makes sense that a dragon would take a little bit of time to follow through with its riders commands. It just creates realism with the game.

You are really reaching with that comment. Go ride a horse and you'll see that your control of it is pretty precise, same concept with a dragon and it doesn't create realism, it creates anger. The contros should react better to your movement.
