For those who buy downloadable games, do you think they'll still be playable through future consoles? This is one thing that concerns me about buying PSN stuff but maybe it's just me. Do you think all purchases may cross over to the new platform?

I can't imagine why they wouldn't be, they're just programs on your hard drive, it's not like there's any physical media involved. But then again, who knows. They seem to have a thing for making people repurchase games and not caring about the complaints, as they demonstrated with the PSP Go.
Downloadable Games should be backwards compatible between Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. Sony has not had a good record when it comes to Backwards compatiblies on its consoles since 2007. Recently the downloadable B/C between PSP and PSvita may signal that the transition of B/C PSN downloadable games is not going to go very smoothly.
However the even PS4 is still a ways off. I don't have much faith in Sony on transferring PSN purchases toover.
I 100% recall saying that in the future Sony are sticking with the idea of accounts/PSN's are they want to keep this persistent throughout. This pretty much means that PSN stuff will carry on over.AdziboyI sure hope so... it'd be a huge selling point for them to keep the PS4 B/C all the way back to the first PS1... I also think they should make a cloud drive so you can play your saved games on any PS3... Besides, that'd help everyone keep their games and downloads for the PS4.
