By the time the PS3 drop its price, its library will already be filled with a lot of promising games and that's another reason to wait for it. Like the old saying goes, "Good things come to those who wait".Â
and if theres any problems with the system, Ill be getting it when SONY fixes the problem. :shock:

few things: 1. no 1st edition of a system is perfect and neither will the ps3. 2. i dont think a lot of America can afford 2 $400 systems, or even when the revolution comes out, who knows what that price will b. welcome to the world of inflation, where everything costs a fortune.
a part of me has seriously thought about waiting till around christmas time or what ever, and not getting it on launch. but in all honesty, the minte i see it up for pre-order i'll be putting mine in. so far i've managed to get the other two playstation consoles on launch, it's like a tradition, lol. i'm not worried about it if it dosen't work. sure i'll be anoid, but i'll just get it replaced. and if the launch games suck, well i'll bung in some ps1 or ps2 games instead, nothing like using past gen on next gen, lol.

Well lets hope they didnt end up homeless cause the 360 burnt their houses down :lol: srry bout this but it is an issue the 360 produces way 2 much heat.
more importantly, waiting allows you to see if there are any hardware issues or bugs that need to be worked out before you drop 700 bucks on a console that could potentially burn your house down.
If your waiting for decent games before you make your purchase then it's a bit of a catch 22 situation. Developers don't usually jump onto a new platform badwagon until they know there have been enough units sold. Whats the point in making a game for a system that not alot of people own. However now that the PS3 has been out for a few months and does have a good install base (PS3 outselling Wii and 360 on amazon.co.uk) we have already seen major devlopers showing love for the PS3. It's ok though because I suppose you can count on people like me who had their PS3 from day 1. You can thank me with Pay Pal.
