Nice, good find.
Edit:
Wait, this will just confuse PS3 buyers who might be getting the MGS4 version. Oh well, free $100 :D
I guess you can say I'm a insider at Wal-mart and the deal or deals is this:
1 -June 1-7th $100 gift card for the purchase of a ps3, either 40gb or 80gb which there is no 80gb in stock at most wal-marts
2- June 7th-15th $100 gift card for purchase of a bluray player think most models, including 40gb or 80gb ps3's this also includes MGS4 bundle.
All of these are for instore aswell as online, and as of Friday night I know my store had received about 24 40gb ps3's so they are being restocked but maybe just not fast enough in some stores. And I'm sure there will be game plans sent out to all walmarts for the upcoming release of MGS4 for the Wednesday midnight release.
I know I"ll be inline hopefully by 11:30pm wednesday night if not earlier depending on the crowd
The offer still looks good.

This has been going around for at least the past 2 weeks and has been confirmed as both online and in-store. My upstairs neighbors went and bought one using this exact deal last night. The gift card is a gift card. Use it on groceries if you want.
This is what stores call a loss-leader. They take a hit on this item in hopes that you come back later on for your HDTVs, your BluRay movies, your games, etc. They are trying to push their electronics department a bit since they are seeing the kind of money that big electronics stores like Best Buy are pulling in. And since it's Walmart and they seem to have everything else in the store, the chances of you picking up other stuff each time you come in is pretty high too.
