i got a question cuz i wanna do this: How do you put these mods into the PS3 version? do you just save them onto a usb flash drive and then put it into you PS3 and install the mod in the community feature of UT3?TOTAL_DEFENSE_0

Download it, extract the folder labeled as "PS3" onto your USB Flash Drive, then go to the "Community" > "My Content", then press the square button to import the content on your USB Flash Drive.

Nope. You have to put it on either a memory stick, SD card or USB drive.

You can do it that way, or you can just slip the memory card in your PS3 if it has card readers.

No. You can still do it through your PSP, though.

Copy the PS3 folder to your memory stick. Not just the userdata.jam file. You need to copy the whoole directory structure for UT3 to know where to look. So when you look at the root directory of the memory stick, you should see PS3 there.

*Edit. Also, this is an awesome mod. I can't wait till they release the cooker so people can start releasing the Halo, Gears, and Star Wars mods :P

Its a mutator so it doesn't look like it works in campaign. Its only in matches thatyou can select all the mutator options like big head and halo shields and stuff.

I really hope that this game does well, and I hope that everyone appreciates what Epic has done by letting us have access to these mods. This is an incredible feature, one that they, and Sony as well, could have ignored, opting instead to charge us for any sort of content.

As for the mod itself, it's actually pretty cool. I played with it last night, and while I like it, I think I'll stick to the first person view. I feel that I play better and react more quickly in first person view, but I will still use this mutator sometimes because it looks and plays great.

Bravo Epic, Sony, and the modders out there. This is awesome and I can't wait to see what the future holds. UT3 should stay fresh for a long, long time, making an already awesome game even better.

It didnt work for me using PS3's browser. It said "insert media storage device".

i think if you go to the epic site you can do direct download

i think when the first mod maps released Mark Rein posted them and said you can do it that way

The third person view is a mutator that you have to enable when setting up the match. When setting up the match, ie, maps, players, bots, etc, on one of the screens near the bottom you press "square" to add mutators. Scroll down the list and you'll find the mutator, apply it, then start the match when you're finished setting it up.

My apologies if it's not the "square" button you must press, but I think it is. Just keep an eye out for "add mutators" near the bottom of one of the screens you go through to set up a match.

Since the third person view is a mutator that you must enable, I assume you can only activate it if you're hosting the match. The third person view isn't a view you can just press a button and toggle between first person and third person during the game, but rather a mutator that forces everyone in the match to use.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me, but I don't think I am. Maybe the mod community can come up with a way to allow you to toggle view points during the match, but I have no clue if it's possible.
