That's like asking "Do I want a brand new lamborgini or do i want a brand new ferrari?"
Dude you have to get both. They are by far the two best multiplayer (even just flat out best) games on PS3, with Resistance close behind (Plus Call of Duty 4 has an oscar winning storyline for single player). I have them both and i switch off every so often. But if you have to make a decision, here are some of the differences...
Warhawk
-Teamwork is much more important and a headset is vital
-many different stradegies help keep you entertained (fly, then Tank, then sneak up on foot..)
-Split-screen multiplayer (online too!!)
-longer stradegy based games
COD4
-Most realistic game I have ever seen, much better graphics
-slightly faster than warhawk
-Lots of different modes and unlocks gives u more incentive (although same can be said for warhawk..)
U can catch me playing either game PSN- Wildman91
CoD4 is definitely a better game, it has a brilliant campaign and top notch online multiplayer as well as being one of the most visually stunning games out there. Warhawk is frustrating, boring and looks ugly.ladycroft142
I am getting a PS3 in a few weeks..and have been doing some research on the games the system currently offers. I have to say both games look Awesome!! But as far as a game that sealed the deal in my descision to get a PS3.....Warhawk!!
The game just looks like it is loads of fun. In the last few days I have looked at maybe 75 videos of Warhawk gameplay..and I can honestly say the game is far from "boring and ugly". Also ...I have to agree the game is far beyond your normal FPS type games...so the poster who posted the above comment I quoted..problably does suck at Warhawk..or just can't get the hang of it.
If I had to choose which is better .... owning both, I have to give the nod to CoD4. That being said, I don't want to take anything away from Warhawk. I LOVE the third person perspective, the different vehicles, and the simplistic gameplay but in the end the almost frantic style of CoD4 just makes me lean towards it ever so slightly.
If you can, I would definitely say pick both up. They're both fun in their own special way.
