I don't think so. I loved Warhawk at first, but it got really old, really quick. I just went back to playing Call of Duty 3 online. Now I'm on Call of Duty 4 and I love it.
I was just playing it again today... I still consider it a must buy. The servers are still pretty populated and the experience never gets old (at least for me). I just love getting in those Warhawks and dogfighting... I have yet to find a game that replicates it.
It still the best online game on the PS3 and if you read the IGN article about the PS3, best online game on any system. SO yeh it sill is a must buy and will remain for sometime. I played COD4 and Resistance, but those games dont hav those "HOLY CRAP" or"OMG" moments like Warhawk does, it has addiction, pace, and explosions superior to any online game i hav seen. So yeh chek it out, definitley a buy.
definetly I love this game and I prefer this over Resistance and R6V, and those two games are really good. Warhawk should be in your christmas list, somehow try to fit it in.
P.S. I have the same problem, I want to buy Ninja Gaiden Sigma but dont have any room for it with all of the new games that are out.
seriously man at first i bought warhawk and i didnt play it that much but now i got into it its pretty dope... its definitly worth the buy if ur ps3 is connected to the network and yes the headsets good to go i say go get it u wont be sorry
I'm still on the fence about this one. I might put this on my Christmas list since I've never played a straight up multiplayer game like this before. I must admit that the headset looks tempting.
i still think its one of the best multiplayer games on consoles this gen (CoD4 and Orange Box: TF2 tops it for me as well). the best thing about Warhawk though is that it stands out from other shooters by having such a huge focus on vehicle combat, which is extremely intuitive and fun. definitely a must buy, especially if you get it with the headset (the headset works pretty well and you are basically getting it for only $20).
Only if you know it's a game you're going to play. and only if you're not gonna do like most guys that are going "i got a new game, now i won't play my old games"... Best thing about the game (imo) is that the people who don't like it, actually leave. that way i'm able to play with someone who's actually into the game and good at it. and meet alot of the same good players over and over again. instead of playing against someone who sucks and cries on the mic all the time. i hate it -.-
warhawk is awesome, it never gets old, also I read in a game magazine that the new expansion will include a new vehicle called the drop ship that is equipped with 6 missile turrets and can transport other vehicles like the tank and jeeps far distances and drop em off. Also they are expanding the areas with this update: D
