The gameplay really never appealed to me since the beginning. I would prefer to get to level 55 five times on CoD4 then play Warhawk.
However, I do like the "openess" of the Warhawk ideas. CoD4 should allow split screen multiplayer as well as vehicle options. My guess is that those features may show up in CoD5.
I remember I saw Warhawk with the headset Blu-Ray bundle thing for 40 bucks on the first week of release.
See if you can find a deal like that.
Most definitley. Still a great game with a large community. Trophys are comming out soon, so thats another incentive to buy the game.
Personally I havent played the game a whole lot since COD4, but that game is geting a bit boring. Im thinking of going back to warhwak till Socom comes out
I say nay - the game never got to me.. I enjoyed COD4 moreXantamSaviourditto, the rank up system and unbalanced weapons just killed it for me.
Why do threads always jump to CoD? He's asking about Warhawk, not if it's better than CoD4.The gameplay really never appealed to me since the beginning. I would prefer to get to level 55 five times on CoD4 then play Warhawk.

Warhawk is well worth the purchase, Incognito is a great developer and they are very loyal to games. They have kept the game going with a constant flow of expansions, and updates. Well worth the purchase in my honest opinion.
I feel the weapons are very balanced, at first I didn't really but once you get a hang of the game it just takes strategy to offset some weapons. I feel every weapon has a counter part. The one thing that really bothers me is the invisibility; I feel that it should respawn fewer than the other 'flying' pick up, because people abuse it and its extremely hard to kill someone using that power up.

its deffinetly immensly worth it if u have a few friends for split screen or online it has amazing vehicle segments and on foot can be really fun just dont care too much for the lack of great on foot aiming but even that has its perks and some unique aspects like croaching to enhance accuracy and killer assortments of weapons and gadgets freekn sweet game but for me sinse it came out now i would play MGO 9 times before i play warhawk once... but thats a tremendous accomplishment... a game that can at times pry me from mgs4 must be somthing truly special indeed lol

OMG YES!!! K, I was playing CoD 4, it was my thing for the longest time there, but the thing is I forgot how good warhawks was, my advice is get it! The only reason I'm hooked and back on it again is cause of battlefield (it's like warhawks except realistic looking, they are both equals to me) which in my opinion both of these games really out do call of duty by a long shot. Warhawks is so much fun, you won't get bored, it's always something new to do, it takes REAL STRATEGY and TEAMWORK!
Warhawks has so much variety and is such a big world not to mention huge online community that you will never have a problem getting into a game. The vehicles are excellent, the weapons are excellent, the developpers are excellent and the upgrades, modifications and updates are SUPERB! The game is expanding immensely and this game is just too much fun!
Thought at first you may find it hard to get into because there is so many good players. But once you too get good the odds even up and then the game becomes intense, loads of fun and will keep you at the edge of your seat while getting chased down by 3 other warhawks! Then manuevring the warhawks is ZOMG awesome because you can outdo those 3 warhawks, this game takes true skill and strategy, in my opinion, one of the greatest games ever made. Once I got back into this, my CoD4 hit the dust and is still collecting it today =P
Only games I play now is warhawk, battlefield bad company, oblivion (forever lol) and I plan to get MGS4 really really really soon.
Btw, if you do get warhawks, add my PSN ID: BlizzardWolf
Completely worth it. And don't listen to anyone that says "no, buy COD4 instead"... It's a completely different gameplay experience. 3rd person instead of 1st, more arcadey, vehicles, and amazing flight/dogfighting gameplay. That last part is the key... Actually flying around huge battlefields is an awesome experience and COMPLETELY different from COD4. Other than the fact that they're both multiplayer battle experiences, they couldn't be more different.
So buy Warhawk. At $30 it will immediately become the most worthwhile purchase in your collection.
EDIT: I guess I should have read through the thread before posting, haha. Glad to see you're going to buy the game. See you on the battlefield!
