Personally, i hav played COD4. I find the game some what like Rainbow Six, alittle better but similar. Not to mention the fact its a FPS. Unless, your a die hard FPS gamer, stick to Warhawk cause its alot more fun and has alot more depth in terms of online and multiplayer. But remeber Warhawk doesnt hav single player which isnt a problem in my eyes.
If your looking for a great multiplayer game, I would go with Warhawk. If your looking for something with a little bit of a single player campaign and multiplayer go with COD4...
The nice thing about COD4 is that you rank up a lot faster than you do in Warhawk. Thats the only thing I have against Warhawk, I played for months and only ranked up maybe 6 times... COD4 you can gain 2 or 3 ranks in one match...

Totally depends on what you are looking for. COD4 give you many different types of battle scenarios on single play, probably the best single player campaign under 10 hours I have ever player, and one of the best over all in general. Multi player is really fun too if you like that tight close quarters combat in iraq feel with no vehicles, warhawk is more of a wide open battlefield/flight type game. Personally, play them both, you will like them both for what they are.
the finding of servers in COD4 makes me not want to play it online.. but i do agree single player is funn as (*@$@!#!!! lol and warhawk online is pretty fun :D COD4 can be fun too.. but its like an mmo online :/ u need to get levels to do other modes.. and most likely.. there are more people up there to do other modes so its harder to find a game for nooby lvls.. atleast its hard for me..
Warhawk is a lot of fun online, but it feels more like random combat with no tactics and reason. For me Warhawk got boring after 2 weeks. I still play it every once in a while, though ive been playing COD4 since its release and im still having a lot of fun. COD4 feels more in depth while Warhawk is more arcade-ish and in Warhawk the weapons all feel kind of cheap, and you will find yourself jumping around throwing grenades at the enemy rather that jumping around and shooting him continually with your gun.
