I have COD4, not really happy with it. Then i thought of warhawk, and decided to ask here? How is the game guys? i know its tough to get use to but i hear its more fun then COD4..? some might say?
I personally love both games. Warhawk is huge and has more variety, COD4 has some amazing gun fights and the online is awesome, pretty much like Playing through the movie of black hawk down, its that good!! As far as warhawk, the dogfights are simply amazing and the best aspect of the game, the only bad thing about it is its very very hard to find dogfight only matches. Warhawks pacing takes a lot getting used to because it might seem slow paced because the scale of the maps during ground combat but it definatley grows on you
warhawk online is better, the vehicles are nice, plus there is a dropship add on coming. the game is very fun, and quick. But whenever I have freinds round tey get lost and cannot find the action, oh and there is split screen online play, but there are not many games that allow it as it could give a team a disadvantage, as they can end up on opposite teams, and one can sabotage their own tem or something, by running teammates over, which is annoying.
First of all Warhawk doesnt hav a single player. But its online multiplayer is one of the best experience out there. Yes, its defintiley better than COD4, cause theres more to do, and more ways to do it, but like everyone said its about the pace, if you know what to do and where to be the game can get very fast and very fun.
lol Warhawk is an amazing game.. take Gears of War + COD4 + Battlefield and i think thats what Warhawk is like. The levels are amazingly huge and vastly detailed.. but traversing them can be very easy, as the vehicles are generally fast (walking is fun but if youre going to walk, take a rocket launcher lol). Theres tons of weapons and strategies all over the place.. soo much can happen each game, where as games like COD4, though action packed, are very linear and rat holed filled, warhawk is very open and non linear of any kind.. I dont think the emphasis is on dogfights, i have more non dogfight kills than dogfight kills.. warhawks can be shot down pretty easy if you have the right tools too lol. Though you can also kill someone on the ground just as easy.. Its just a treu great balance of a game lol.

i agree i love both but right now its Cod4 (beside the ranking) i love the game
I claim role of party-pooper. I try to love Warhawk, I really do. I've put in over 30 hours and tried to love it. The dogfights and vehicles are cool, but something about the entire game I just can't get fully immersed with. It takes nearly 1,000,000 rounds to kill someone as an infantrymen, forget about being in a warhawk, though the sniping IS fun. I think the warhawks should be able to do more bombing runs, I know there is an anti-infantry/vehicle clusterbomb, but why not just a big f--kin' bomb? I'll admit, I've had fun, but there are just several things that bother me about it. I don't have COD4, but I have played it on my friend's 360, online. It is very fun, just haven't coughed up the change, waiting for the World at War's reviews and peoples' opinions (Call me shallow, but I'm skeptical and need to know more). Back on track, Warhawk is made for certain people. I guess I can kind of sum it up in this: Warhawk is a summer action flick, and COD4 is a war movie.
I wasn't very impressed by Warhawk, its fun but matches are too long. I also found that ground combat was terribly unbalanced, the aerial combat is the focus but the warhawks control like flying turds. Frequent disconnects really annoyed me as well. But my biggest hate on the game comes from the archaic server list, its a console shooter there no need for that. When games have turned to skill based matchmaking based on connection, skill level, which match type you wanna play, etc are the norm this relic from the PC shooters is unforgivable in a modern console online game. It may suit the needs of PC gamers but its inexcusable in a console game, its one of the many reasons I refuse to play MGO too.

u havent play warhawk in awhile i assume, because they have add a quick join option, but i prefer to chose the room thru a list tho
