This isn't that much of a secret. Most reviews have reported how they didn't like how the game just ends after the main quest. To remedy this you can just load a old save and just do the side quest.
Well.....technically, isn't that what a game is SUPPOSED to do when you BEAT it? :?

Yes, I am starting to get annoyed at people complaining that the game ends when they finish the primary quest. I understand that it is an open-world game, but open-world doesn't mean never ending.

But it should let you at least return to the world and let you do the remaining quests. At least it should let you EXPLORE the world.[QUOTE="TheMazaku"][QUOTE="Kiljoy66"]Well.....technically, isn't that what a game is SUPPOSED to do when you BEAT it? :?

But it should let you at least return to the world and let you do the remaining quests. At least it should let you EXPLORE the world. You can do that, just before you finish the main quest. Now I haven't completed the primary quest yet, but couldn't it be possible that it's conclusion results in the game world changing in such a way that it wouldn't have been possible to allow you to continue?
Well, if someone here played the other Fallout games, you just could keep playing after finishing the main quest.
However, I'm just taking my time with the game, just like i did to Oblivion. Stop complaining and enjoy the game.
Maybe if you finish it, you can start with a different approach, enjoy playing man/girl!
thats right dont finish the main story, it won't let you continue in the game to do other quests, it just...ends. I didn't even find have of the places and i was excited 2 continue in the game but no they had 2 end it with the story. its gta4 all over againpoomonger613
Yea...but what kind of Sandbox does this qualify as? That irritates me. If Oblivion ended after the main quest...it would have been annoying.

same unblieveably annoying problem in mass effect. It just ended stopping you from getting many of the achievements. shabab12At least in Mass Effect you could re-start the game with all your stats, weapons, etc. If you could do this with Fallout3 that would be much more of an encouragement to go out and keep playing.
check the date :PThat doesn't happen if you have the game on 360 along with the Broken Steel DLC. :P

[QUOTE="Doolz2024"]check the date :PBroken Steel is coming out for PS3 sometime this year (and if you can only choose one DLC, go with this due to the story expansion and moving the level cap to 30), but this thread is from last year. :| Why do people bump old threads...That doesn't happen if you have the game on 360 along with the Broken Steel DLC. :P
