Warranty help....

If i buy a ps3 slim from the US when i live in Malaysia,

1)does that mean i have to send it back to the US for repairs?

2)Will i be able to even do that?

3)or is my warranty forever void?

4)will i have to register my product with Sony in the US?

Been there... done that..... All i got was "We have no information on a PS3 Slim, sir".... Itslike that here... slow and 'confining'

any other help guys??? please??
