Okay I hearing from across of Gamespot the word "IP" be used. Person might is like "Oh i hear these as respectable IP, Call of Duty, is coming out."

What is exactly mean by this "IP"? WHat I mean is what is the I and P stand for in words? Is an acronym. ? I think I understandable the meaning of the use but not what it stands for. Thx anyway :)

Not exactly how you think here. Individual titles like Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: World at War are games, but they're still a part of the Call of Duty franchise. Call of Duty as a franchise is an intellectural property of Activision (they hold the trademark on the name 'Call of Duty'); meaning that no one else can make a game or any sort of merchandise with the name 'Call of Duty' without Activision's approval.

Just think of it as taking place in the same universe. Halo series, Call of Duty series, Star Wars series etc.
