So I bought Ground Zeros during the summer on PS3 and I could have sworn every site and article about this game kept saying that if you buy it on PS4 or PS3 its cross buy (you buy it once and you have it for both system).

So I just got a PS4 and went to see if I could download Ground Zeros but it wants me to pay $20. The game isnt even that good, its just a fucking demo.

I don't remember that either, I'm afraid. It could have happened and I missed the news, but when I bought it I was very careful trying to figure out which version I wanted, and opted for the 1080p/60fps PS4 version. At the time, the PS4 version was $10 more, so I debated paying the $10 more. I don't know how they would have made it cross buy with that price difference in effect as most everyone would buy the cheaper PS3 version and get the more expensive PS4 version free.

Here is a post from March where people asked if GZ was going to be cross buy and the answer was no then as well. The price difference was mentioned as well.

As I said, I don't recall anything about GZ being cross buy either and I remember doing heavy research before deciding on which version to buy.

If it was cross buy, I should have a PS3 version out there for me, but I never saw that.

On the plus side, GZ is cheaper today than it was back when it launched, even on PS4.

My post was deleted...but basically, yeah, I cited evidence/links that this wasn't cross buy as far as I could recall.

Sorry about the bad news and good luck.
