it costs 475 to make you want it for 300 WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW and btw i opened my 360 n ps3 360 on the inside is made extremely poor and cheap no joke n yes i have a 360
i think they beter put microphone with the bundle. games like killzone2, mgs4 and resistance can realy get better with chating. i know they have the mic support but i barely see some one that has them. instead of putting 2-3 games bundle, put one good multiplayer game and a mic as a bundle.
Backward Compatibility across the board. Users with neutered ps3's should be at least allowed an opt-in download to software emulation for the games. And Sony should be working more aggressively to make sure that as much of the back catalog of BOTH ps1 and ps2 games will actually work on the ps3. The XMB is long due for an overhaul. Sony should get with NVIDIA and allow a release of a GPU driver for the Linux community, so that the full power of the ps3 can be used on the open-source OS.

Everyone I know was waiting effectively for the 60 or 20 gig units to go down to the $399 price point, or even $299. The fact that Sony basically decided to chop off so many features and STILL is more expensive than their closest competitor, well... I just know of at least five personal friends that will never buy a ps3 because of it (particularly the BC issue). Also, Sony needs to officially rework their controllers to have proper triggers. Yes, I am happy with the RealTriggers I'd bought for my DS3's, but it's still the principle of the thing... I think it's ludicrous that I basically had to buy an add-on to make the official controller not suck so hard anymore.

Does it really save you that much time to exclude the letter "H" in the word "what"? I mean seriously, you type out all other words completely, but then use "wat" for "what". *PERFECTIONIST OVERLOAD* /rant sorry Anyways, the PS3 needs cross game voice chat. It already has cross game text chat. ;)
Sony needs to produce more off-line multi-player games with split-screens (i.e RE 5). I shouldn't have to go online to play when I have family and friends who'll play with me.
Can you imagine Kratos comming in from one direction, and Nariko (Heavenly Sword) comming in the other and taking out a boss together?
My particular model offers pretty much everything I need in a gaming console. If anything I'd like the Remote Play feature to work both ways. Basically, I want to be able to access the content on my PSP, so I can play my PSP games on my HDTV with my DS3.
can't say it's missing anything. My PS3 pretty much does everything i want it to already. I'm the "happy with what i got" kind of people... but regardless of my nature, i will still gladly take any extra features via future updates :)
