Watch Dogs Footage at PAX East 2014 (4 mins, off screen)

As confirmed by Jonathan Morin on Twitter, the in-game footage was captured from a PS4 Dev Kit and played as a video file on a PC at PAX East 2014.

Very stable frame rate despite the number of particle effects, explosions, reflections etc. happening on the screen all at once. The train even passes overhead, casting lights on the street below as the carnage unfolds. Best of all, it's totally unscripted.

This is no graphics downgrade, any PS4 owner would be proud of his or her investment.

Game looks incredible. Hopefully Ubisoft will release the full demo at some point they can quell all this hyperbolic downgrade nonsense.

It's a shame the pedestrians don't react to the traffic collision the way they did in the E3 2012 gameplay. I was really hoping that wasn't scripted but this time they just cower or flinch.

What impressed me was at 1:42 mins, the guy in the blue shirt and white pants got out of his car to take a closer look. He paused when he saw another car accelerating out from the wreckage and finally panicked when it nearly hit him.

Great real life survival tip. Next time, just drive away from the scene and do not get out of the car.
