Well name says it all, its one of the biggest things I am annoyed at the PS3 for.. Is their no support of a headset through usb for audio and speech.. The 360 does it, the PS3 can easily do it.. So the fact remains.. Why havn't they ever put this in a firmware yet?

I doubt it. Sony seems reluctant to add any decent (and smaller) features in any firmware updates. I really can't remember the last time a firmware update did anything cool.

By headset I think he means like a Computer gaming headeset.. the ones that are full service headphones with a microphone! What I'm using now is just that, but mine has the headphone jack and microphone jack which then plug into the USB adaptor. So i have just the mic jack plug into usb converter into the ps3, and then have the headphone jack plug into my tv with an extension cord so it works...... but obviously its not ideal.
