We need a new SSX on the ps3!

These are just my thoughts but honestly, how much do all of you miss the SSX series?!

I remember back in the day I used to play the **** out of SSX tricky, it was honestly one of the funnest games I have ever played. I was remembering awesome levels like Tokyo Megaplex (or something like that) and that one level where you ride down the volcano or something. Anyways How great would it be if we got SSX Tricky 2? More customization, same awesome levels and tricks, online play, local multiplayer, 60 fps ps3 graphics..the list goes on and on.

Why hasn't EA gotten on this, seriously

Is there any word anywhere over the internet that indicated even the slightest chance of this? Maybe an oold interview with ea devs or something.

I loved SSX 3, has to be one of the best games i ever owned on my PS2. The only hint i've found was on Burnout Paradise where the radio DJ (Atomica?) talks about the mountain and how it's cold or something.

I really want another SSX. All these other snowboarding games that try to be like it make me sad!

Bumping in the very, very small chance an EA executive is sitting at home bored out of his mind and decides to browse the PS3 board of GameSpot.

Seriously.

Tokyo Megaplex and Mercury City Meltdown were the greatest levels of any game ever. SSX Tricky was so vibrant and full of color that it was hard not to have fun with it. SSX 3 toned that down a bit and traded the over-the-top breakbeat feel for a more realistic, down to earth vibe accompanied with a full mountain available for free roam, which wasn't too bad either.

I want an SSX Tricky and SSX 3 hybrid so I can die happy.

I'd probably hype it up more than Bayonetta.

Would be a day one buy for me.

As much as EA sucks the life out of other franchises, I am surprised that SSX hasn't come out yet.The first three were great but I never bought SSX: On Tour because it seemed that they didn't add anything new really. Plus I wonder if SSX: Blur for the Wii did bad.

I would love a new SSX. I was just at Gamestop a few days ago and I found Tricky for $3 on Gamecube. It's still just as fun

Yes it has :) but in my dreams.

SSX 3 was one of my favorite games last gen, they should put it in the psn store. I hope EA releases a new one but I doubt it.

SSX Tricky was fantastic fun... I could spend hours messing around on Pipedream and the Tokyo Megaplex.

SSX3 I loved even more... especially with new grind-rail uber tricks and the chance to scale the entire mountain in one run.

A new SSX on PS3 would pretty much be a must buy for me.

Agreed. This is one game I miss from trading up to a PS3 w/o backwards compatability. But silly me thought this was a successful enough game for EA that they would bring us an updated edition with HD graphics.

Really just want a good snowboarding game to get my fix when getting on the slopes themselves is not an option. And I'm sorry Mr White, but your game apparently did not make the grade.
