i know dream theatres drummer. he lives 10 minutes from me, and i live in pennsylvania. she has a 10 year old daughter named melody who hangs out with my sister. and yes, he plays rock band.

Rock is much better.

But in terms of songs, we need more Maiden and Motorhead, Ozzy, Sabbath Megadeath Zack Wilde and more. They have to stop with the gay cheerleader rock

guitar hero needs some songs that have some guitar playing in them.

like come on what kinda guitar solos do linkn park and no doubt have??? the very bad repeditive type. we need some good bands like acdc who have guitar solos and good guitar playing. david lee roth should really be in it, back when steve vai was playing the guitar there was some really great songs.

but what can ya do? next week they will bring out a britney spears pack :D well its their loss they arent gonna make any money from the junk that they are releasing.

and everyrthing they said about getting publishing and time to make it etc. is all lies. rockband devs can manage to bring out like 10 songs a WEEK and guitar hero 3 devs cant even manage 10 a month

Definately. GH 1 had the right idea, with Black Sabbath, Pantera, Black Label Society, Motorhead, Rob Zombie, ect. A real metal feel. #2 was alright, some of the non metal/rock songs were ok, but 3 had too many of these crappy songs (When You Were Young, Miss Murder,ect.).

The next game should be the real legends of guitar, with Dimebag, Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhoads, Jimmi Hendrix, Hammet, Mustaine, Slash, Malmsteem (Hardest song ever, no matter what song it is), and maybe some new up and comers like Lee (Dragonforce). But all bands/artist in the game should have really great and famous guitar players.

I would be happier if there was a metal dedicated GH with a broad range of metal band of different subgenres from across the North America and Europe but that is something that will never happen because the developers decide to add in only popular junk to make more money :(_bOrk_

they should just release so much more songs.. 70 is just not enough..

Herman Li is the most overrated guitarist ever. Watch his Betcha Can't Play This -it's horrible. Get Yngwie, Joe Stump, Petrucci, Vai, Satch, Friedman etc on there. But Dream Theater over anything :D
