we waited and waited for 2.4 now we have to wait again for patches

so much hype for 2.4 and so much waiting now its finally here and half of us cant even get trophys as there is only 1 game that supports them.

why couldnt the devs of games like gta just copy the xbox 360 achievements and just make them into trophys.

the 1 game that does support the super stardust hd only has about 10 unlockable trophys the rest are unlocked with the expansion which isnt on the store.

getting platinum trophys will be impossible as we will need to PAY to get them. warhawk..to get them all u need to own all the expansions, same with stardust and no doubt the same with burnout. at leased uncharted has no dlc but still its a little annoying that we will have to pay to get them all and that we have to once again wait and wait until support for it comes. no fair play to sony they did their job they finally delivered in game message and kind of in game music as well as trophys i just wish sony gave out the dev toold for trophys weeks ago so by now devs could have had them made for us

Because game development is hard, long work and both systems arnt the same, not magic.

PLenty of 360 have you pay to be able to get achievements. It still bad, but no worse.

yea because its annoying. we have been waiting months for 2.4 now we have it. i couldnt care less about soundtracks and i only have 3 friends so i dont need messages. i really dont need ingame xmb at all but still its good to have it. i wanted trophys, i just expected for an update as big as this sony would have forced devs in advance to add trophy support to their games so when hte patch did get released devs would simply link the trophys to the psn account so they could be unlocked

WOW! Will you guys ever be happy? The main goal for this update was acess to the XMB in-game, we got it now. Everything else will come in time.

no we are not satisfied and we have every right to be. The most talked about thing for 2.4 was in-game XMB, we got it but we wanted in-game music. We don't have it the way it should be. PS3 owners have wanted in-game music since the PS3 was released and now we have to wait again for games to patched again so that we can play our music, and on top of that it is up to the devs? No, I'm sorry but thats not how that is supposed to work. And don't give me that crap about M$ having a patent on it, I know about. I'm happy that we got the update and the ingame messaging and everything. But we still dont have in-game music like we should? Hell yea I'm pissed :xGameGuru31192

all PS3 fanboy's are complaining STFU!!!....did you all forget that PSN is FREE???, i don't wanna have to pay $50 a month for Xbox Live and have to maybe pay for PSN one day i don't have money like that, not to forget monthly internet expenses....so STFU!!!

adding them to the game itself is the responsibility of the Developer and whether they WANT to do it. Range_Finder

Indeed, yet it seems people dont understand this, even some games that arnt out yet might not get such stuff, a good example is LBP; today the devs said that they were already placing trophies to pick up all around the game, but were still not sure if they wanted custom music (note that the devs got the tools at the same time), fact is, some devs just dont find it useful or/and dont want their own OST's cut.
