Do you mean from flash-based sites like YouTube or AlbinoBlackSheep? If so, yes, you can.

You can also stream videos saved on your PC's HDD using a media server like Windows Media Player 11 and TVersity.

Yes im talking about flash based, but i dont know how to download the softwar needed for it.

and where talknig about ps3 web browser right?

Yes. Also, you don't need to download any software. The PS3's web browser comes flash compatible out of the box.

i tried to play a video and it directed me to dowbnload abobe flash player, which then told me it could not find the proper one for my platform.

lots of websites, gamespot for example. havnt tried yopu tube yet

Maybe gamespot's video player doesn't recognize the PS3's flash-player as being compatible with the PS3. YouTube does work. I've also tried AlbinoBlackSheep and Homestar Runner.

Just remember, the PS3 only supports flash 8 .
