I think it is. I mean you got the best titles of Winter '08 coming out in the same week. Not only that, I think October is the best month for gaming too.

With LBP, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Fable 2(i know 360 game hate them but still probably great game), Bioshock(PS3), and maybe MMO KOTOR. That week will be the most awesome ever for gaming. There is no other week that can top this right?Cwest423

WOW for somone who thinks 21-28 of october is a big week MISSED a lot of games....Guitar hero: world tour, rockband 2 (ps3) and bundle, Eternal Sonata (ps3), Dead Space err, i think rockband and dead space is a day earlier but w/e

Far Cry 2 should be cool and Fallout 3 looks potentially awesome. Fable 2 will most likely be just as disappointing as the original (did everyone forget the major fallout after the original was released and contained nothing that was promised). kyrissbp82

it didnt deliver on all of the promises but it was still a very good game.

Well... I wouldn't think that. Since I'm waiting on Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3, I'd say its the best week for me.

It might not be the biggest week in history, but I think it will be a week of generally high revenue for videogame stores, which is why I am baffled at Jim Cramer's recommendation to "Sell, sell, sell" your Gamestop shares on Mad Money lastnight. What do you guys think?

Well I am waiting for RB2 and LBP. After that I won't get another game till White Knight Chronicles comes out. So October 19-26 (the actual week) for me will be the best week of the year. However, the best week in gaming history will be when FFXIII finally comes out.Zidaneski

But if we want to go as far as to say that October AND November '08 are the best MONTHS in gaming history, then we'd have a debate.

Why the heck are you attacking him for and calling him a smart A$$. So he doesnt agree with you, big deal dont get your panties in a bunch. Personally i agree with greengoblin, its not the biggest week ever thats seriously stretching. Dont get me wrong its a great 7 day period but late October and early November always have solid release titles.
