weird idea

ok ok, while watching the new square enix convention video when they got to the timeline portion of it i had an extremely weird idea.

now i dont know if it has been stated before or not, but this idea, would possibly be an extremely big seller for SE and sony alike.

a final fantasy anthology with games FF1-12 (excluding 11)

including all the tactics and any decent spinoffs worthy of the FF name.

now imagine that all on one disc (blu-ray ftw anyone?)

for a FF freak....this would be god incarnate

any ideas anyone?

(dont worry about my sig, i know its an xbox 360, it just died and im really pissed at MS, but i love my ps3 to much anyways) 

well how much are we talking for this set here? because ive only got 190 canadian lmao on me that is but seriously i would have a heart attack if they did that and then id cry of joy and pain brought on by the heart attack ithink it might have to be 2 disc even for blu ray thats a huge set of games

and chrono trigger and cross pls? 

i would gladly pay mabye $150 (USD) for all of them, i mean it is going back into SNES era (aka $.99 (USD)) up to mabye $49.99

then again it may have to include kingdom hearts....but still 2 dual layered BD....orgasmic

Final Fantasy IV and CT : Chronicles : 510MB.

So add around 1GB for those.

Yeah...I had alot of free time lol. All in all, would fit on a single-layer blu-ray disc and would be totally worth it.

:othere you have hit the Final Fantasy Collectors Edition coming out early next year LOL but its good to know all of them could fit on the smallest blu-ray disc

IF they actually did that , this would be the single most important game since Mario Bros, and Pong.

who wouldn't buy a disc with every FF game ever made, heck they could even put Crystal Chronicles and Chrono Trigger on there. I would gladly pay upwards of 150 bucks for something like that.

It's a good idea, but not a good business model.

SE remade FF1 and FF tactics on PSP with no improvement what so ever.

FF1 : 144 kb

FFT : 196 mb

PSP UMD : 1.8 gb

You see, they could easily fit FF 1-6 plus tactics on a single UMD.

But they won't do it.

Because they rather release them one by one ..... :roll:

do you know why ur idea is bad? cause SE makes WAY more money selling them alone

why would they bundle everything in one BD, when they can sell (and they are re-releasing FF1 and 2 for the PSP) each for good money

sure, it's good for us, but for them,  no way, unliss this BD will cost ohh   lets say $400 (and thats i think less than combining the price of all of them) and no one will buy it at that price
