Mines died about a year and a half ago right before it's 5th year, too. 'Tis a hurtin' sista I was when it happen (as my old PS3 was the ceramic white JPN version)......I loved my baby. :(

Shame to see it happen to a fellow ZOE fan. I hope you get it fixed in time for ZOE collection in Oct, and I assume by then the new PS3 model will also be available so there is that option too.

I know the feeling bro, mine ylod for the second time, got it on the launch date. You can have it fix by a pro or buy a slim model.

The passing of a playstation 3 console is always a hard thing. Send for the Sony coffin.

Will definatly have something to play it on by then. Gonna try Gilskys fix later today. Hopefully I will be able to get it running again, at least long enough to get a more current backup.
