Well, It Died.

Well I put Bioshock in my beloved PS3 last night. Played for an hour or so and bam, she died on me. I have a 60G, and it had the red,green,yellow,steady red light problem, won't even eject the disk. How long does it usually take for them to fix/replace a PS3 in the states?

Hard to believe. I have 3 PS3s and they've performed flawlessly for years with tons and tons of use.

Damn thats a kick in the conkers mate I feel for ya, I am dreading the day mine packs in (if it ever does). Hope it gets fixed soon.

Same here on the $150.00, I have a way of getting around those on the phone, hopefully it will work with Sony. It's always worked with the other two console companies.btaylor2404

The process took me about two weeks, to complete. They ship you the casket box in a few days, then your PS3 casket comes with overnight shipping back to them , then it takes a bit over a week for them to send either yours fixed, or a refurbished unit. I'm on my 3rd 60 gb, so this is a pretty frequest occurence or me. Good Luck evading the 150$ fee. :)

the best thing you can do is to get a new one...my ps died a month ago,they haven't fixed it yet, so i'm buying a new one tomorrow :x

Many rooms where people in my house play.

I have a 20gb model upgraded to a 500gb HDD, a 40gb model upgraded to a 500gb HDD, and a 60gb model upgraded to a 160gb HDD.
