Well my Xbox 360 just broke...again. (on topic)

This is like my 4th one so far and every time it breaks it's something different.  Is the PS3 having the same number of problems or is it having better results?  I'm just wondering if I should get one instead of dealing with this crap all the time.

I would be surprised to hear that somebody has a PS3 with technical problems.. 

My PS3 freezed once in THP8 and never happened again...

PS3 is very reliable.  I've had mine lock up a couple of times in linux and once in the ps3 OS.  Thats it.  And yes I have a red ringer too.

Depends how much you like your current games. If you really, really, really enjoy them, get another (I can't mention the name as it sickens me to my core :D) but make sure you get it with an in-store warranty so you can exchange it at a moment's notice.

Fortunately for me, I happen to enjoy Sony's game lineup more (upcoming game lineup for those who like to get technical) and the added benefit of system reliability.

Great games mean nothing if they don't run and run consistently.

my 360 kept breaking so i got a ps3, and my ps3 which I have had since launch is working great ***knocks on wood***   I actually just used my best buy warranty to get a refund on my 360 and i got a laptop instead.
