Well, there goes 'PS3 FTW 2008'

Played the Haze demo, after about 40 min of downloading/installing.

I think most people who will (and i know they will) praise this game as being great must take their ps3 fanboy goggles off. If you can bash a game like Turok so much, Haze deserves the same treatment even if its a ps3 exclusive. The gameplay is dodgy and generic, the graphics are a 7/10 at best, dialogue was cheesy as hell and overall, it just wasnt fun. I could barely finish the demo, let alone actually putting down $60+ for this game. It seems like basically you just use nectar, kill opponents and move on, nothing more, nothing less. A crappy gimmick for an average game

Never really hyped about this game too. I don't get why PS3 players hype this. It looks like any other shooters out there.

I couldnt agree more. With Killzone 2 out of the lineup, anyone can win 2008 now.

At least 2009 will be a good year >_>. At least there's still MGS4, Resistance 2, Siren: Blood Curse and Heavy Rain (will probably be pushed back, but looks great non the less) to look forward to this year. Silent-Hal

I don't understand why everyone is ignoring the rest of the PS3 2008 line-up simply because KZ2 has been delayed. Aside from MGS4, LBP and R2, a lot of people seem to think it has nothing left this year.

I know, but thanks anyway. I couldn't be bothered to make a Japanese account :P. I saw a gameplay video of the demo in action though, looks to be one of the best Survival Horror titles to come out in awhile (and no I don't count Condemned).

I know R2 has its fans, but I didnt really care for the first one, so really all im lookin forward to is MGS4 this year,,,, LBP is a mystery. Good thing theres good multiplats, otherwise I'd have nothing to play lol

Haven't played the demo yet as it's still downloading. By how your describing HAZE could be put to any game though. All you do in Oblivion is go to a quest, kill some, loot some, level up some move on. All you do in GT5P is buy cars and drive. All you do in Uncharted is shoot badguys and go to the next checkpoint.

I understand there's issues with this game but who knows it still has time before it's release. And as for 2008 being the ps3's year, you still never know. MGS4 could wow lot's of people being a huge system seller and Resistance 2 is going to a pretty big release also. LBP i believe is slated for later this year and has everyone eyeing it (even though I don't see what's so special). Granted, it's not going to OWN 08, but it still has a very strong chance.

Haze, in my opinion, wasn't overly hyped anyways...

Even if Killzone 2 is delayed and Haze blows (as expected), 2008 still belongs to the PS3.

Whether these announcements say anything about games that will be released in 2008, though, determines if 2008 is "the year of the PS3".

COD4 ruined every FPS game because since it came out, every FPS has had to be compared to it,,, and Haze like all the others falls WAYYYYY short of the bar that Infinity Ward set

the next FPS that will best COD4 will be COD6 (assuming treyarch cant match IW)

get your head outta the clouds, we'll be lucky to see Infamous, Eight days, the agency in 2009. Knowing Sony, theyll delay them 2010 in fear that they might clash with GT5/FF/GOW3,,, 360 released Bioshock, mass effect and halo 3 all alongside all the great multiplats like AC, COD4 etc... and it worked out for them

All these anime games like Valkyria/white night chronicles etc... appeal to about 5% of the gaming population

All of you trying to say KZ2 will be released in NA in 08 are really drawing at straws. They said it was delayed in europe, because the event was IN EUROPE!

Give me FF and Socom and i'll be happy. ANything else will just be the icing on the cake, but I want FF.

PS3 will get 2008 just from MGS4 and Resistance 2.

I never hyped Haze, was never interesting. Always though of it as a knock off.

i think i can make it this year with MGS4 + Warhawk + any other multiplatform + Resistance 2 (hoping that they dont delay it ) maybe LBP.....

i hope that this doesnt turns to be... 2009 the year of the PS3....:( , that would be.... more waiting
