I prefer Fallout myself, but Oblivion is a an amazing game no doubt. Its always fun replaying the Dark Brotherhood, or sneaking around under the commandment of the Grey Fox :) I also have the GoTY, and anyone who does not own Oblivion, I highly recommend it, GoTY or not

i kindly disagree...i hated this game with much passion, and i will be selling the GOTY verison to anybody who wants it for a price that has not yet been releaved...
yeah oblivion is one hell of a game. i've played and beaten this game on every platform its on. since it launched. i've invested more time in this game then any other. one of my favorite games ever.
I bought the GOTY for PS3 and started it up again also after not playing it since it originally came out on the 360.
The game still holds up and has some of the better graphics on the system...crazy.
Such a good game. Anyone that passes the GOTY version up for $29.99 is crazy.
I had to roll a couple of characters but i finally got my guy figured out....havent played in a while. Ill have to go back as well :)
This is a game (just like Uncharted) that I've heard nothing but GOOD things about. I see all the great reviews, and think about buying it, but I don't want to get it, then hate it like I did Uncharted. :( Doolz2024:( oblivion is my fav game this gen and is quite the experience. Pretty much if you like Immersion in video games and the LOTR universe at all, you will like this game. Then again...my other fav game this gen was Uncharted ^.^
The game's level up system is flawed. Neat in theory but it just doesn't execute well unless you know absolutely what you're doing. I reached level five. Went into the water only to be murdered by a fish..... a FISH!!

I MIGHT use some Gamestop store credit to buy a used copy, since I have plenty of it. :D I'll just have to hope it doesn't disappoint me like Uncharted. :| btw, does Oblivion have trophies? Just wondering.

Yeah, it's huge. I wonder how long it takes to get from one end of the map to the other without using the fast-travel.hazelnutmanWith a character with the lowest speed possible =O
I prefer Fallout, but Oblivion is a GREAT game I'll agree. I just don't have the time to put into BOTH games. To me there's more enjoyment to be had with Fallout, but to each their own.

LMFAO...same thing happen to me. I fought through the early level blues though. Glad I did cuz I absolutely loved every minute of it (except getting mauled by that damm fish).
I play it from time to time just to finish up all the side quest that I still have. Eventually i'll pick up shivering isles.
To be honest i didnt like Oblivion. I got the GOTY edition but kud neva get into it. I dnt know if its because i like more structured gameplay were your not free to do as you choose, if i dnt like rpg's (1st one i ever played) or wat it is. I realy wish i kud get in2 it but it always felt labourouos playing it and i never realy enjoyed it. I onli put in prob 5 hours worth. If anyone kud shed sum light and magically make me enjoy this game i wud luv u till tha day u die. l0l
