WET Demo.

For people that don't know, the demo for WET is out on the UK store. If anyone has played it, please post impressions.

I just finished, and the first half feels kind of like the poor man's Uncharted. Weaker platforming with an extra aiming mechanic, but it also feels quite like a movie. The second half, however, is where the style really kicks in. It's sort of like playing through the intro to Casino Royale. The background is red and black, and all the enemies are black and white men in suits. The third half ;) is a bit messy, the gunplay doesn't quite work. The QTEs really make the whole sequence feel like an over the action film, which is a good thing.

Whatever it may seem, the intent of this post isn't to get my opinion out there. It is to spread the word that the demo is out, and see what the PS3 forum thinks! So don't fail me now, try the demo out!

at first i thought "unimpresses" but after a while i realized i was havin fun..it felt liek a great action flick..like kill bill, wasnt too bad and nce i got the hang of controls i was doing pretty well..maybe a rent or a abrgain purchase

I guess I was expecting too much with this demo because I wasn't impressed... I had way more fun with Mini Ninjas.

Haha,nice catch, but I think the TC knew about the "third half" error. Light humour on their side since they put the wink emoticon right after it.

At first it was somewhat rubbish and clunky but once you get used to controls etc its pretty good.

Its a shame the North America store update didn't have Dirt 2Sk8ter_213

I am not surprised we dont have it over here, it seems rare that we get a demo before the actual game comes out. Which is ridiculous if you ask me.

The second level was kind of fun but that third part needed some work. I would pick it up if I saw it for $20 but not more than that.

i have played it, and its fun, but i wouldnt buy it, but swinging that sword while sliding on your knees is fun

i thought it was absolute garbage, poor game.

It was entertaining, the second part was badass. Soundtrack was cool, gfx was decent (the bad guys where a bit low-poly) gameplay was good.

I'm a sucker for slow-motion (thx to max payne) and being able to use it all the time was fun.

Wouldn't buy it though, it wasn't good enough.

Id freshen up on your math a tad bit buddy...

I liked it more than Stranglehold.

It looks really bad for starters. The game completely fails at trying to be stylish both in gameplay and presentation.

And it wasnt fun at all.
