When I go to video, photo, or music on the XMB, there are these media server things... I've always wondered... what are these, anyway?

To share on windows media player, you right click library and go to "media sharing" check "share my media" it should show a list of the things you can share with ,it should come up as ps3 or something like unknown device, allow it, and it should show up on your ps3. It will share what ever is in your wmp library.

You might be able to do it on other media players, but wmp is the only one I use, so I'm not sure about others

What about the stuff from My Documents/My Computer? Because I have a bunch of crap in there that I want to either transfer to my computer (videos), or transfer to my PS3 (music).
