Yes, when it comes to PS3 games, it is region-free. You can go ahead and order that breast examination game from Japan and play it on your own North American PS3. The language will be the exact same though (Japanese). It's just a matter of your PS3 being able to run these games. Although, some foreign games (like the Korean version of Demon Souls) has English in it already in it, hence you can change the settings to your language preference.
