What are some of the best PSP games out there ???

I think God of War: Chains of Olympus is the best PSP game out there at the moment. Yes, its very short, but it has that certain GOW look and feel to it. It controls very well and has a really good story that complements GOW 1 and 2 quite well.

I would give Crisis Core: FF7 a solid second place right now and one can easilly make an argument that its the better game.

Then you have Patapon, which is just a lot of fun, in an odd and unexpected kind of way.

Other games I like are Secret Agent Clank, N+, MGS Portable Ops, Lumines, Pursuit Force and Metal Slug Anthology. These are all solid titles.

Oops Almost forgot about Resistance: Retribution. Another tremendous title.

GoW Chains of olympus (is really really great but way too short)

The Warriors (always rooting for this one ! ;) )

Street Fighter Alpha Max

Maverick Hunter X

It sure is one unique and original son of a gun. I'm a proud owner of one myself.

Other than that, it's fairly obvious. Crisis Core, GOW... No matter how many times this subject comes up there are always the same titles. There's no reason to have thousands of 'best psp gamez' subjects. People will just force on everyone that the greatest graphics + greatest name = greatest game. Until this changes, Crisis Core will always be the one holy miracle of the PSP. No need for innovation or originality when you can have a recognizable name and a slot machine in the upper left.... :|

Crisis Core-Final Fantasy 7 & FF Tactics-War of the Lions are the best 2 I've played so far. Jeanne D'Arc is pretty good too.

i would also go with the 3 holy grail of psp aka gow, cc and resistance retribution, but here are some titles that i consider just as good for the psp:

ace combat x: skies of deception (best flight action game for the psp hands down)

castlevania: dracula x chronicles (lots of replay value + has symphony of the night in it and rondo of blood original and remake)

afterburner(best arcade style game for me for the psp )

syphon filter: logans shadow
