What are some of your favorite Playstation Classics?

Man, as we are steadiliy approaching the next generation with the PS4, I thought it would be cool if we all pay homage to some of our favorite Playstation classic games of all time :). Plus I'm curious to see what kind of original Playstation games you guys were into back then :D. So I shall start :)

Here are some of my all time favorite Playstation games

One of my first music/rhythm games that got me hooked to the music/rhythm game genre. Now this is a classic.

While everyone's ideal RPG during the Playstation era was most likely Final Fantasy VII, mine was hand's down Legend of Dragoon. Such a great game with amazing locations, exciting combat, and WTF special attacks that were just insane to watch lol. 

2D Platforming at it's finest. Tomba showed that you didn't need to go into the realm of 3D to create a great and amazing platforming game.

Crash Bandicoot Warped, the pinancle of the Crash Bandicoot series in my opinion, and hands down one of the best action packed 3d platformers of its time. 

I believe this was actually my first RPG game when I was little, and the sad yet simplistic story of Rudy (the blue haired guy) in the beginning of the game, got me every time lol.

So what are some of your favorite Playstation Classics? :)

Timesplitters and Shadow Hearts were some of my favorite games.  They might not be as classic other franchises, but it would be cool to see both franchises receive a reboot. 

I had a blast playing Syphon Filter back in dem days. To this day, it's still the game that i've had the best hours with :)

Crash bandicoot 3, Dino crisis, Jet moto, Syphon filter, Silent hill, Medievil.

I've been gaming for a very long time, but I was never a PS1 owner so I never got to play these games in their hey day. However, I've come to play some of these games in the current gen off of PSN and I must say Symphony of the Night is an absolute classic with an insane attention to detail.

Also I have a huge "crush" on the original Resident Evil. I absolutely love that game. It's just brilliant.

The Tekken and Timesplitter series!

First classic I bought was Alundra. That game never gets old.

But I also have BoF 4, Legend of Dragoon, Tomba, Xenogears, Crono Cross, FF 9 and a few others. 

Lots of good choices you guys :). Lol, I think I'll throw these into the mix too :P. These were a few guilty pleasures of mine as well xD

Thousands of hours spent with these games.

There was this crazy little game called Sheep, dog and wolf (or sheep raider).. I had loads of fun with it.

Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot

PS1 def contains my most treasured memories in gaming.

Most notable were:-

Tekken 3, Tomb Raider 1 & 2, Abe's Exoddus, Micro Machines V3 and the original GTA.

But there are loads more I remembered when I had a browse through PSN. PS1 was just an amazing console.

FF Tactics was probably my favorite game on the PS1. Wasted so many hours on that game.

On the original PS, Crash Bandicoot (all, but especially Warped) and Harvest Moon, those games stole my childhood. PS2 had God of War 1 and 2 near the end there, and about a million other great games. Also, Final Fantasy 7.

Oh, and the first 3 splinter cell games, back when they were gems of gaming (new ones are meh IMO)

I will always love GTA:Vice City and Vict City stories.

Spyro games and Metal Gear Solid

The best game EVER!

I was addicted to Crash 3 when I was a kid.
