I was wondering what the best Blu-Ray movies are. I was looking at Transformers since it's coming out on the 2nd but I wanted your opinions.

I have a problem with one of my blue ray movies and wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar problem. I bought Black Hawk Down as its one of my favourite films. It looks great but a lot of the film is to GREEN. The walls at night, soldiers uniform and well everything has a green tint to it. I've tested it on a friends ps3 with different TV and it was the same so I either have a faulty disc or for some reason the ps3 blue ray player gives it the green tint. Just wondering has anyone else come across this problem or have any ideas on what it could be? Ta

Casino Royale, Saw III, Kingdom of Heaven, and Silent Hill are the best looking and best sounding movies in my collection that I can think of off the top of my head. The movies are great too :P. 300 was a bad, quick, cheap, and dirty transfer of the DVD version in my opinion. The video was grainy and the sound didn't have the depth and boom that so many other Blu-Rays have. The collector's version coming out later this year should be better.

Kingdom of Heaven is outstanding and looks awesome. Batman Begins is also a great view on blu-ray.

I agree with 300 definitely! I also find Resident Evil 3 and Across the Universe look really good in glorious blu-ray.

Blade Runner. Not the best looking, but a steal for around $30 considering all the extra content. Also Walk Hard has a ton of funny extra stuff on a second disk. Anything by Pixar looks amazing if you don't mind kids movies. Besides that I would say any newer sci-fi or action flick. Not really worth getting comedies unless you want the extra content.
