It's not really a shooter, but Condemned 2 imo is far and away the most violent game on the ps3.

it's not really a shooter (don't call me an idiot please), but Fallout 3 uses FPS elements for combat and you can cut or shoot off leggs, arms, head, torso and after all that the boody will explode in some red goo and guts will be around the corpse.

I think it'sa battle between Fallout 3 and Dead Space. Fallout 3's Bloody Mess Perk is well... messy, but Dead Space when the enemy kills you, you're ripped to shreads. I can't decide.

Dead space - when you die is just so brutal !

Fallout 3 - didn't play the game but when i saw some gameplay movies it was cool , shooting limbs off.

call of duty;world at war can sometimes be brutal,when you lose your leg , you can see the bone.

Killzone 2 isn't that violent!! You can't blow limbs off (except head) but seriously, you haven't seen Fallout 3 or Dead Space??!!

no one mentioned ut3 and it's the most violent on ps3 that I've played. You can literally blow someone apart with a rocket launcher.

Ugh, I'm glad Killzone 2 is the only FPS I've played. FallOut 3 sounds like I throw up in 3 seconds after playing it.

killzone 2, fallout 3, condemnd 2 are all different when it comes to both amount of gore and gameplay.

Killzone 2, condemnd 2, fallout3 are all FPS! but fallout3 is playable in 3rd person.

Fallout 3 is goriest on the PS3 but there are gorier games not on the PS3 most of which are pc or 360

fallout with the bloody mess perk is probably the most violent thing ive seen in a game

a close second would have to be deadspace, my favorite moment of violence in that game is if you fail to shoot the last boss after it picks you up you have to watch it eat you alive, that was rather sickening.

It is FALLOUT 3, hands down! Especially with the messy perk and it is really cool watching it all when you are in the vats mode.

Did anyone here play ut3, I already mentioned it earlier in the thread but it makes KZ2 look like a childs game with the amount of gore. I haven't played FO3 yet though, I need to, it sounds awesome. Espeicially the blood and now the DLCs coming to PS3

most voilent? bioshock! may not be super gory but its deffo voilent! untold ways to dispose of foes, more i believe than any of the above mentioned games..

These are all good choices, especially Fallout 3 and Dead Space, although Dead Space takes the cake for the violent deaths the protagonist can incur, which are really quite disturbing, plus Fallout 3 doesn't really force you to dismember your opponents.
