What are you favorite puzzle or strategy type games on the psp. I like pixel junk after playing the demo so I bought the game. I also tried Patchwork Heroes and it's not bad. I'm thinking about getting it. It looks like there are a couple of fun puzzle/strategy type games on the psp. So what's your favorite?

Lumines for sure. It's not only mt favorite puzzle game on the PSP, but it's my favorite game overall on the PSP.

I would also say Lumines and Mercury although the second one in both cases :)

Though I haven't exactly played it I like the general idea of Crush. I'll eventually pick up and play my copy. :P

As far as games that I have played, Exit was pretty fun back when I played it. Quite challenging I thought.

Crush and Mercury are both good but they get pretty tough pretty quickly. Exit is along the same lines, but not really my thing. My favorite is probably still Puzzle Quest. I can't count the number of times I've played through that game, even though the PSP version has a glitch that makes companion characters useless. I also love Lumines, but I can never finish a game in one sitting, which is kinda central to the puzzle game genre.

Tetris. There are a lot of variants and challenges. As if Tetris wasn't addicting enough.

I wish I could play Lumines, the downside of the PSPGo. :(

The PixelJunk Monsters demo seemed pretty fun. Are there plenty of modes/challenges/whatever to keep a gamer comign back for more?

Only puzzle/strategy game I've played on the PSP so far is FF Tactics, which I don't particularly care for. I'm more of a Fire Emblem type...
