I just bought the official one there.. but i dont really like it, and as the poster above me said it hurtsyour ear after a while.
most will work just fine just don't use the pseye microphone... i used to have a crappy jabra one and it was ok but had to keep changing the batteries all the time i now also have the official one but haven't had any problems with it hurting my ear i guess it depends on what your ear is shaped like @pela_yo try going in audio settings and changing the sound input device to bluetooth headset it should work fine a friend of mine uses a nokia headset also and it works fine hope this helps
nice little Motorolla one, although mine doesn't hurt after a few hours since the ear grip has the rubber-ish material on it.

Same. I love my headset. It works like a charm and I got it crazy cheap on eBay.
the reason i'm asking is because I was playing mw2 online lastnight for the first time and noticed a two people were using headsets so its catching on so i might as well join in and it would be fun i know they were talking **** because im a complete noob and everyone was running around punching me to death lolz..
i'm really thinking about the offical one I got huge ass ears i wonder if that helps or if its bad ? LOL
What's wrong with using the PSeye as a mic? That's what I use, and it's much much better than having something jammed in your ear for hours of gameplay. I also have a pair of wireless headphones hooked up to my surround sound... using these with the PSeye is perfection. The only complaint I have with the PSeye is that when your game's sound gets picked up by the mic and causes an echo... but that's why I use the headphones:Dmost will work just fine just don't use the pseye microphone...

In most cases (not yours since you use headphones for your audio playback), unless your speakers are set to mute, anyone and everyone is going to hear your game audio echo back, and that includes the stuff we just said over our own mics to you. That's why people hate it when others use the Eye as their mic.
The PS3 supports a lot of standard USB devices, it's not hard for people to buy a USB headset for audio communications.
For me, I use the official Sony BT headset for the PS3, got it in the Socom pack. Headset is great, unfortunately the game was complete bollocks.
(especially at the time of its release where it was bug ridden and glitchy to all hell)
that's what I have. works fine.I did use a Plantronics 510. Then I started using a PS3 Eye. Both work fine, but I prefer the Eye. It doesn't run out of battery.
